Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our apartment maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of our properties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in apartment maintenance, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, including technicians, groundskeepers, and other staff members as deemed necessary.
  • Work hands on with staff in all areas of the maintenance responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of apartments, common areas, and amenities to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with property manager to address resident concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance.
  • Proven experience in supervising and leading a maintenance team.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) will be an advantage.
